Veppanu (vepdegestrant) is a new oral targeted therapy approved for the treatment of adults with ER-positive, HER2-negative, ESR1-mutated advanced breast cancer or metastatic breast cancer after progression on prior endocrine therapy. Veppanu is a first-in-class PROTAC estrogen receptor degrader that selectively degrades the estrogen receptor, a critical driver of tumor growth and endocrine resistance in hormone receptor-positive breast cancer.
